Abstract

During the registration period, students often ask questions on how the schedule of the courses assigned to them, including the sections, were generated. This seminar will present the answer to the above questions by looking at the algorithmic perspective of the registration process. Computational problems associated with the registration process will be defined and proposed solutions will be presented.
