Computing Policies

The committee's main functions are the following:

  • To recommend policies concerning the ICS student, faculty and administrative staff use of computing services;
  • To draft the ICS Regulations for the Acceptable Use of Computing Facilities and Services (AUCFS);
  • To conduct consultations with the faculty and staff on policies related to the AUCFS; and
  • To identify the basic computing needs of faculty and administrative staff such as:
    • levels of computing required to support administration;
    • hardware and software requirements;
    • useful lifecycle of equipment; and
    • access to printers.
