UPLB web ranked 3rd nationally by AIM study

After Ateneo de Manila and De La Salle University, UPLB's simple website bested the rest in a recent research study done at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) involving the country's top 35 institutions with the best Information Technology programs.

The study, presented by Mr. Regnard Kreisler C. Raquedan during the National Conference of IT Educators held last October 23-24 at UPLB, focused on “usability” - measured in terms of how easy a website can be utilized and how it satisfies the user. The author is an award-winning certified web professional studying in AIM and is a part-time lecturer at the UP Information Technology Training Center and has served as Project Manager of the UP Java Research and Development Center.

courses@UPLB is now online

courses@UPLB, the course management system (CMS) for UPLB, is now (experimentally) online. The CMS is a customized moodle, a free, open-source CMS for online learning. UPLB faculty members, students and staff can access courses@UPLB at http://courses.uplb.edu.ph.
